Rill
Like so many of our designs, Rill takes inspiration from the wonders of nature. Specifically, the shallow channels carved into soil as water flows over its surface – a phenomenon we witnessed with fascination during a sudden downpour during a London garden tour. Without an umbrella – and almost without thought – we found ourselves entranced by the impacts of the droplets. And just like that, Rill took shape in our imagination.
Billet
Subtly – oh so subtly! -striped, Billet is eminently adaptable, layering rooms of all styles with quietly shaded visual interest.
Isla
Inspired by the steeply rugged topography of the Kazak mountains, Isla’s angled design aspects in both border and field – including twin medallions – are at once typical and revolutionary, thanks to fresh new colorway choices.
Kada
An intricately detailed, playful balance of medallion like shields and plentiful geometric figures, Kada’s design roots can be traced to a small Persian village famed for producing artistically distinguished rugs. At ease in both traditional and contemporary design schemes, Kada is faithful to history – and forward thinking in expression.
Parterre
A solid, yes. Yet unexpectedly nuanced. Textured Soumak-style depth and dimension – courtesy of loop-stitched flatwoven surface embellishment – and heathered yarns make it so. SHIIR makes it distinctive.
Damascus
Transcending the ordinary by way of extraordinary innovation: Ever artisanal, ever inventive, Damascus is borne of ingenious technique. Its pattern punctuated by silken knots that confer subtle interest, it blends a coarse quality weave with fine materials in the ultimate marriage between high and low.
Triomphe
A true triumph of the weaver’s art, Triomphe displays the complicated striations born of a passion for design. Purposefully random in pattern, Triomphe welcomes – and even encourages – departure from structure. More than abstract, it is arbitrary. Haphazard, even, in a most deliberate manner. And utterly, indefinably, gorgeously, unique.
Vine
Just as nature’s tendrils wind and wend, so, too, does a densely textured, trailing procession of embroidery.
Compendio
Forested with a mosaic redolent of marquetry, parquet, and the craftsman’s deliberate artistry, Compendio evokes the geometric alliteration of linear silhouettes, echoing again and again in increasingly diminutive fashion across its delicately patterned surface.
Etson
Imprinted not with pattern, but with texture. Texture borne of wool fibers, oxidized by iron to yield a patina-rich illusion of age. Authenticated by appearance; verified by touch, haunted by memory of carpets worn, appreciated, and admired through the centuries – yet refreshingly, unapologetically, new.
