Its leather patches whip-stitched atop a field of silk, Holborn’s geometry is augmented by the play between negative and positive spaces – here, the opaque density of elongated leather hexagons; there, the textural counterpoint of flatwoven silk. All, accentuated by heavily corded hand-stitching.
Lyra
Perhaps the most influential muse of all time, Mother Nature’s floral wonders are represented here, like so many art forms, in uniquely European fashion: overall in design, stylized and angular in interpretation, and becoming of castle, palace, folly – or their edgier, modern-day equivalents.

Brass Door
Feet pounding pavement, horns blaring, crowds rushing, pulsing, surging forward. And everywhere, inspiration, as a glimpse of brass – scuffed, mottled, aged with patina – spied, day after day, sweeping across concrete in the urban jungle, informs this deeply saturated rug in all its glorious color.
Esha
A recent visit to India included an afternoon spent sitting cross-legged over tea with one of the country’s master weavers, who shyly – yet proudly – shared with us a prized possession: an antique rug crafted by the renowned weavers of South Asia’s Baluch tribe. From that afternoon, our Esha interpretation was born. Featuring the geometric patterns and rich colors for which Baluch rugs are celebrated, Esha is both durable and forgiving, making it especially well-suited for commercial applications. Shibori
Suggestive of – indeed, informed by – 8th century Japanese fabric dyeing techniques, Shibori summons memories of ages-old manipulations, and marriages, between fiber and dye. Oxidized to evoke eternities; rendered wholly new by imagination.
Kada
An intricately detailed, playful balance of medallion like shields and plentiful geometric figures, Kada’s design roots can be traced to a small Persian village famed for producing artistically distinguished rugs. At ease in both traditional and contemporary design schemes, Kada is faithful to history – and forward thinking in expression.
Cirque
Cirque – perhaps the interior design world’s version of gestalt. A symbolic pattern of circular elements, themselves created of circular motifs. So unified as a whole that it cannot be distilled into a simple summation of parts. An all-around winning combination of pattern, mood, and meaning.
