Passage
A brick-lined alley. A mosaic of crumbled asphalt. A windowless stretch, inviting the crossing of a threshold. Entry points all, from a place of compression to expansion, and finally, illumination. Where a profusion of richly saturated color, rendered in silk, pirouettes across a field of wool. Passage, indeed.
Indo Tess Inverse
Indo Tess Inverse is a celebration of contrast, deepening the observer’s appreciation of its form. A coarse, flat woven field in wool, with every imperfection of the hand-weaver’s art exposed, offset by the flickering play of light across dense and luxurious silk – such is the beauty of Tess.
Holborn
Its leather patches whip-stitched atop a field of silk, Holborn’s geometry is augmented by the play between negative and positive spaces – here, the opaque density of elongated leather hexagons; there, the textural counterpoint of flatwoven silk. All, accentuated by heavily corded hand-stitching.
Bahtia
Bahtia Bordered by primitively rendered organic elements, including rosettes, that balance its medallion-free, geometric field, Bahtia’s boundless versatility adapts easily to both traditional and more contemporary interiors.
Triomphe
A true triumph of the weaver’s art, Triomphe displays the complicated striations born of a passion for design. Purposefully random in pattern, Triomphe welcomes – and even encourages – departure from structure. More than abstract, it is arbitrary. Haphazard, even, in a most deliberate manner. And utterly, indefinably, gorgeously, unique.
Cirque
Cirque – perhaps the interior design world’s version of gestalt. A symbolic pattern of circular elements, themselves created of circular motifs. So unified as a whole that it cannot be distilled into a simple summation of parts. An all-around winning combination of pattern, mood, and meaning.
